Every second weekend in June we take a little road trip for the love of trout on Saturday {it's always rainy} and for the love of tractors on Sunday {it's always hot}. We've been going since 2008 because the wee ones look super forward to both events.
Total bonus: Catching up with our awesome friends; sneaking to the farmer's market for a strawberry-rhubarb pie; watching Buby and Bleu scarf down a whole bag of white cherries, seeing Ollie cheer at every tractor that rolls by -- and Jeep parked on the side of the road -- and motorcycle we pass on the way home. Wow that boy loves locomotives!
We didn't stay for the BBQ lunch after since we had to hightail it to Buby's last game of the season. Hurray for the end of baseball!
P.S. I didn't really take photos this year, but I should've at least grabbed their attentions for the shot above. Buby looks to be giving some shady character the serious eye.
