Buby had his first official practice tonight, and I must say that he is so far "The Hitter" on the team. I had no idea!! He hit at least 15 straight pitches before missing one {above}.
Tonight felt more like June than March. We ate a picnic dinner on the bleachers. It was sunny and warm, and the rain held out until the very end. Bleu was in good spirits and quite amusing, Bear was such a better spectator than last week {because I brought my mom}, and the rain afterward made our whole neighborhood smell a-m-a-z-i-n-g.
The best part is: My Sweets snuck out of work early {like half day early!} to be there for the whole practice. We were all surprised, but Buby couldn't believe his eyes.
Yes, I love him EXTRA for that.

That is one of the special memories of daddy Buby will carry with him through his lifetime .. Very cool daddy!! Way to go slugger!! Your batting really amazes me!! Love you forever
