Sunset Beach is less than a 10 minute drive from Cape May. It's a quiet little beach at the end of the the road with a fish-fry type grill and mini golf. Every evening just before sunset there is a short ceremony around the flag pole to remember our fallen heroes.
Immediately following an original Kate Smith recording of "God Bless America" hundreds of people from all over turn at once to gaze at the glorious sky. I love this simple tradition.
