Weekend Update

Saturday morning is pretty much a blur, though I fondly recall waking to three beautiful children bouncing on our bed and a baking sheet full of warm and gooey cinnamon buns. What a guilty pleasure! I made eight for Tom and I to share. He cut himself off at two... which left me with six.

By noon we were at a favorite museum of ours celebrating little pal Jack's first birthday with a few awesome friends and the best catered food I've had in years. The salad was INCREDIBLE. I'm serious. My Sweets wore Ollie in the Bjorn for hours, minus one break to nurse, and he was content as can be. No surprise there. Buby and Bleu lived it up and left with books, balloons, bubbles and smiles. Thanks, Rachael.

Yesterday after tennis we met Buby's old classmate John at a different museum where the boys will attend nature camp this summer. {P.S. They are going to have a WILD time.} We snagged the last two spots, and then My Sweets split on his motorcycle to river fish while me and my three continued on to nearby playground.

I fed Ollie on a bench, sipped a latte, caught up with my friend Seda, giggled at how much fun Bleu was having on her brother's play date. Hurray for playing outside again. Dinner brought fillet, mushrooms, asparagus, streamed veggies, ciabetta bread, and Tom's homemade guac and blue chips. My Sweets prepared the whole bit. Dessert was strawberries. The world's largest. One per person.

Hope you had a great weekend.
