One Crazy Hat

It's Spirit Week, so Buby and I worked on a crazy hat for him to wear to school on Monday. We picked up a black foam top hat at the craft store for like $1 and some new pipe cleaners and oversize pompoms. The feathers and stickers we had already.


It was his idea to "zig zag" all the pipe cleaners like bolts of lightening and stick them through the foam. And when we couldn't get the feathers through the top without breaking the stems, it was his idea to use a toothpick or something like it to start a hole.

Monday also was Morning Music with Dad, an early Father's Day celebration at Buby's school. My Sweets took the late train into work and says he wouldn't have missed it for the world. {P.S. They made him sit pretzel leg on the floor in his new suit :}
