They wanted me to keep playing. I just needed to vacuum the downstairs and mop the kitchen floor first. I told them to wait in the playroom or watch me from the sofa. Bleu chose the sofa... as she likes balancing on moving objects while I clean under and behind.
Buby ran upstairs and reappeared several minutes later with his crazy hat bin. Without a word he piled on six hats, a cape and two masks, and then stood in the middle of the kitchen floor waiting for me to applaud his sense of style. Mission accomplished.
