Buby's preschool is closing its doors forever, so when I saw this wooden house/CD holder at Michael's I thought it would make a sweet craft for our principal Kay. It was only $4.99, and something about the shape of the building and the funky windows reminds me of our groovy little schoolhouse in the country.
Of course it's finished now, so I'll try to snap a photo before we scurry off to graduation services in the morning. It turned out well I think. Actually, when I saw the direction he was taking it in, I suggested we forget about Kay and keep it for ourselves. Buby said, "No way, Mom, it's for Kay. Remember?" Yes, but sometimes it's hard for a mama to see these things fly out the door. Ya know?
