Classmate Gifts ~ In Progress

I already know I'm going to love our Friday. Buby will play electric guitar in the talent show, graduate from preschool, and hand out these awesome bookmarks to all his friends. Then lunch plans, dinner plans, movie and/or block party plans. And a gift or two along the way. We'll be sure to video for you grandparents.


I saw these plain chipboard bookmarks at a craft store a few months back and thought how sweet for the all little munchkins just starting to read. Plus, I suspect listening to Mom + Dad read chapter books aloud will be big part of summer, and they'll need to mark the pages at bedtime.


For Buby's classmates we tend to go simple over fussy, handcrafted over store-bought, and bright over muted. He went to town on the paints this week and will finish his lettering tonight or tomorrow. Then we'll loop through some ribbon together and stamp his digits.
