Blissful Thinking

this weekend...
i love the sight of: this beautifully quiet park that nobody seems to know about but us, leaves on the trees and on the ground, Buby slouching in his theater seat with one leg up {just like me}, pretty pillows on the sofa, Buby off-roading in his four-wheeler, scarves and hand-knit hats in the foyer, the river before dinner, Buby casting and reeling in on his own
i love the sound of: Bebe's heartbeat {which Buby says sounds like Mo drumming}, our 2-year-old repeating his prayers back to us at bedtime, pennies dropping into our vintage glass bank, Buby and Lillian laughing at nothing during playdate {they just look at each other and laugh}
i love the scent of: chilly fall breezes, just-blown-out candles, cinnamon buns at Erika's house, forced flowers still blooming from the photo shoot last week {though they are making us all sneeze}
i love the taste of: filet wraps with crunchy onions tucked inside, root beer with a million bubbles that burn going down, homemade {but not by me} key lime pie with a raspberry crumb topping, freezing cold grapefruit juice, Ramen noodles {a pregnancy craving!}, a bowl of blueberries with Buby
i love the feel of: fluttering inside my belly, date night with my sweets, ordering pizza for Buby and Kiki {his sitter... oh God, we sound old!}, all of us showered before 9am church, knowing the holidays--and more time with the fam--are right around the corner

I love the sound of the two of them laughing as well. It is so cute to watch them, as soon as one starts to calm down all he or she has to do is look at the other and it starts all over again. I really wish I could get inside their heads to know what they are thinking.

I love this blog! What a cute idea...you are feeling baby already fluttering inside??? That's amazing, I began to feel baby at around 16 weeks, is that how far along you are?

I don't know how you manage to make it out of the house in time for 9:00 Mass. It's all we can do to make the 11:00. Ha! What park is there? You've peeked my curiosity.
