Bleu's room is looking sweet + girlie. We still have to paint the trim, hang a few items and find window treatments for our custom-quirky windows {it's super bright in there}, but most of the handiwork is done. The windows installed. The walls painted. The furniture moved. The closet door built. The poles hung. The clothes washed. The bed made. The diaper station stocked. It's amazing how you can set up a space--any space--by pulling things you love from other rooms in the house. I did this for years in other people's spaces as the decorating editor at a magazine, but the process still gets me giddy. We went from home office to nursery + all boy to all girl with very little effort and a few feel-good purchases, like new sheets. Her crib, rug, dressers, fabric-covered toy box, lamp, mirrors, throw pillows and artwork all came from pre-Bleu Buby Land... yet in the right mix totally shout "Made for Bebe." The Ektorp Tullsta chair {above} redefines VERSATILE. My Sweets and I snagged it dirt cheap from Ikea 1 house and 2 city apartments ago. It was green in our living room, white in our master bedroom, and now p + g check for Bleu. The frame has withstood time beautifully. I love that Ikea sells fitted fashion slipcovers for most of their furniture, and they rarely drop an item from inventory. So you can go back years later and grab another cover.

Bebe's nursery sounds beautiful. I think it's great how you used the green from Buby's nursery. It must look so cozy. I remember when I stocked the diaper bag...it felt like it was soooo real. Can't wait to see more pics of the nursery!
I can't wait to see more pictures either, it sounds beautiful.
